Bringing Your Own Boat? Here's What You Need to Know

Planning to bring your own boat along during your trip?
I don’t blame you—this region is home to some of the most scenic waters and best fishing in the world. Whether you're planning to fish before or after your guided day, we just ask that you please be transparent with me ahead of time.

As a full-time guide, this is how I make my living. The areas we’ll be fishing are spots I return to multiple times a week, and increased pressure or additional boat traffic can have a real impact on the quality of fishing—for you and for future clients.

Chase Boat Fee: $300

If you're bringing your own boat and have a group where some will be fishing with me and others will be in your boat, I offer a Chase Boat Option for $300 per day.

This includes:

• The opportunity to fish some of the same water

• Help navigating the area safely

• A chance to get familiar with structure, hazards, and routes
  (This is a long drive to take out a lower unit on Day One!)
